One of the most remarkable aspects of spending time here at Edmund Lake Lodge... and I've been coming here twelve years... is that I think of Edmund Lake so often after I get back to the "real world". For some reason, when everyday life gets a little stressful or hectic, I seem to drift back to the lake and the lodge and recall so many nice memories. I guess I look at those memories as a comfort, an escape to a far away, peaceful place, where I can be free from the "real world" for a few moments. Then I'm re-energized and ready for whatever comes my way!

Hi! This is Jerry Johnson's first Trophy Pike, caught on his first day in camp. We got home in good shape yesterday. Trying to figure out what to do to get back into the work habit again. I want to thank you for a very special week with my son and our friends. I don't think anyone besides myself expected to have as much fun as we did. You all made the trip one that the boys and the dads will remember for the rest of our lives. Sid is already talking about bringing his youngest son up when he graduates. (Sid did not think he could stand fishing for 7 days, guess we tricked him, huh?)

Hello, Thanks from our entire group for the best fishing experience any of us have ever had. And as you know that's saying a lot since many of us have had the good fortune to travel to many camps. Coffee - You can get that any where. Great food - You can get that in a lot of places. Tremendous service and staff - You can get that in some places. Accommodations - You can get as good as Edmund in a few places. Fishing - You can't get anywhere as good as Edmund Lake. You are wonderful hosts with a great staff. Keep up the good work. I just wanted to send a note to you to compliment you on the wonderful time I had last week at your lodge. Everything from the fishing to the food was first rate and the staff was extremely accommodating for all my needs. I look forward to seeing you at the show in Chicago or Milwaukee and can’t wait to get back next season. I have already put the “feelers” out with some friends and it looks like we might have a couple more people for next season.

Just wanted to drop you a short note to tell you that Steve Burton and myself had one heck of a week of fishing, June 24-30. Steve and I caught a combined total of 432 fish with three trophies, and many in the 30” to 38” class. I would like to complement you on your friendly staff and especially the kitchen help and guides. Not only did our guide “Gerry Parnet� take us to the fish, he made the whole week fun. Enclosed are some pictures of Gerry holding the fish that I caught. Maybe you can use them in your scrapbook for the show circuit.
