And so it was another interesting day on the lake... one we mortals dream about. We dream of soft water and sunlit mornings, big pike and plenty of walleyes for sport and shore lunch.  We dream of getting our picture taken as we stand behind a 50” Northern Pike.  And we dream of gently setting her back into the water she calls home.  Our own homes are far away.  And when there, we often think back on these days here at beautiful, island-studded Edmund Lake.  It matters not that she shows us her moody, angry side on occasion; those are balanced by her serene beauty, her wilderness soul and her willingness every now and then to lend to us, just for a moment, a trophy class Northern Pike.
